Labor Day Weekend, we hosted a cook-out to celebrate Ashley's 15th Birthday, at the Lake House.
Her Birthday Party Theme ....PINK!
Which worked out well...producing a PINK POST event to share for PINK SATURDAY,
hosted by Beverly, at How Sweet the Sound.
Visit Beverly and the other contributors, for more "sweet Pinkness!"
Ashley made her Happy Birthday Banner in the first picture, out of various PINK patterned paper!
She also decorated her own cake, icing it PINK and adding white polka dots!
In keeping with the PINK theme, we had PINK strawberry donuts and PINK strawberry Whoppers, along with PINK party paper goods.
ONE of our grill masters, Josh! Actually, he was the gofer! :)

Due to his arm injury, this was the first time David was able to tube this Summer!

He was one happy kid!I took the picture below a few days before the party! I was doing some cleaning, and the kids called me to come quick with my camera, we had a visitor!
We are not far South enough for him to be PINK! :)

It's been a while since I've been able to host a pink birthday. Your pink party looks great. How much fun! I'm glad to hear that David could get some water fun in before the summer was over.

ReplyDeleteBut, the visitor is an egret, not a flamingo. I get plenty of egrets in my yard; they come in a flock--a pretty sight to see.

I totally love how Ashley decorated her cake. She's such a cute, cute girl! I see both you and Kevin in her but mostly you. It looks like everyone had so much fun too. I haven't been tubing in umpteen million years but I do so love the water and it looked like tons of fun! It probably hard to get David out of the water since he hadn't been able to go all summer. Oh, also, I think I noticed a batch of your eclairs on the table too! They are so yummy, I think I'll make some for dessert tomorrow!

Great party girl and she did beautiful on her birthday cake! Happy belated birthday to her! Ohhh it was great to see pics of your kids on the water..I remember when mine were younger and how they loved to go tubing and swimming and jumping in the lake from tall rope swings...ohhh my word! lol Now it is twice a funny to be with them all and watch all these grown kids take over the 'toys' from the grandkids! lol I saw that gorgeous tassel you made...oh girl I want to get one of those from you when you start selling...it will look great in my house! have a great weekend sweetie and stay safe!
