Oh I am with you in wanting Spring to get here quickly...however, it snowed most of the morning and in our part of the state it melted as soon as it hit...makes for good moisture though.

Have a great week.

Gorgeous photos! I especially love the blue of that pool. We've got sun today, but still lots of snow on the ground. Spring can't get here fast enough for me!

We'll be having an early spring here (North Idaho)

I flunked morning glory. I know they "grow like weeds", but up here they don't do well. I'm going to try a shadier place. It can get pretty hot here.

Hi Rhonda,

I stopped back by to answer your questions. I have only started menu planning this year and I am loving it. It was stressful EVERY day when Lexi would get home and the question was "I'm hungry whats for dinner"? Now with planning, I shop weekly usually on Monday mornings, after Lexi gets off to school (not crowded in the stores AT ALL) and pick up whatever random things I need. We also usually need bread or milk or snacks for lunches so this is working out great. If I find I only need a couple of things I go to a little mom & pop type store right by where I live and will pick them up when I will be cooking the recipe. Usually I do go to the big W-Mart though, because their prices are so much beter. My next goal will be to quit skipping around so much on a menu (though I am really enjoying that) and use things I already have in different recipes to try and cut back the grocery budget a bit. Sorry for the book but hope this helps.

Glad your kiddos are loving the Valentine boxes. A new tradition is always fun to start and they will definitely look forward to it each year.♥

I'm sure you'll see that green long before we do! We're slowly mending (thanks for caring and asking). It certainly was a nasty strain of the flu. The weird thing is we all got it within hours of each other. In all our years of marriage Larry has only asked me to drive him home from work once when he didn't feel he could drive and we ended up in the ER with an emergency appendectomy. He called for me to get him and I was worried. It turned out to just be a nasty flu and then I got it. Kaje' got it at work and they wouldn't let her go home. Nasty long story but she turned in her two weeks notice after that and is currently job hunting. She was too sick to drive home so her boyfriend came and got her (bad mom award for me bz I was too dang sick to come and get her and so was Larry, seriously we were that sick). Her car stayed there all night and we didn't get it until the next afternoon. I was so worried that it would be towed but fortunately they didn't do anything to it. I think by tomorrow we'll be pretty much all better. Now, that was more information than you ever wanted to know wasn't it? Thanks again for being such a good friend and checking in on us! Me

Ah Rhonda,

I am also dreaming of Spring! Our son in VA said it is feeling like home there! With all the snow. :-)
Spring comes and call the terrible flu like colds will end...
Enjoy your week.

Wow! Look at all these comments (think your email awhile back)! I really hope David doesn't get H1N1 bz it's nasty stuff. We didn't have that but it was a really nasty strain and for all of us to get it within hours of each other was really unusual. It lingered and kept us sapped of energy for about three days. Good old mom struggled a little longer with it and I'm sure it was because I was washing all the ick and cleaning the house up again. I really need a dishwasher again. I truly think it would keep us from getting sick so much. I hardly ever get sick but since Travis left I've had one thing after another. I'm sure most of it is stress but I'm really tired of getting sick, lol! Thanks so much for checking in.

Since Kaje' is a minor I'm really thinking of taking this problem above the manager's head. She literally was laying on the floor bz she had no energy to get up and move and her coworker and the security tapes vouch for her. She was in the bathroom so much of her shift. Thank heavens she had an understanding coworker who picked up all the slack. Travis used to be assistant manager there and having been a store manager myself (Larry was too for 16 years) this is so beyond unacceptable for a manager to just say "you only have four more hours so deal with it." I wonder how many people Kaje' got sick just by taking their cash or credit cards and them handing them back to them? Kaje' truly has us in her corner on this, especially bz we suffered with the same bug and every single muscle and bone of our bodies hurt! Okay.....I just took a big breath and I'm done venting. I'll let you know if I take it higher. I'm going to wait until she has her last paycheck though before I say anything, just to be sure.

Thanks for your comments on Travis too. He's grown so much. I can just feel it in his letters. I'm one of those mom's who could have kept her kids at home forever and been happy and content. I don't know what I'll do when they all leave the nest, lol! I'll pray for David and hopefully he'll miss out on catching this bug.
