Road Block...

Have you seen the commercial where the guy is surfing the internet, and finally reaches the end???
That's me! That's where I am at this point with blogging! At least posting, that is!
My house is in shambles! Therefore, I have nothing cute and creative to share! The remodeling has mushroomed by leaps and bounds, and right now is just a big mess! And to think it all started simply with a little moulding! LOL!
I can't get into the study to download new pics! ...not that I have any! If I did you'd strain your eyes peering through the dust! Not that I am complaining! Actually I feel quite guilty! Over 400 people will be layed off from a local lumber plant before Christmas! ...and here I am complaining about a little dust and discourse! ~God Bless Them!
Just worried, that with my lack of post, I will fall through the cracks of BLOGLAND and be forgotten! :( ...you won't forget me will you? I'll still visit and hopefully posts will emerge from my murky, stressed, unable to focus ...mind!

I visited Marie, at As the Wind Blows this morning, and she seems to be having a similar problem, lack of things to blog about. She was however, able to post pictures of her front door entry. I can't even do that! Unless you want to see my toilet now resting behind the pumpkins on the front porch! I can't imagine what my neighbors are thinking! Maybe I could just sit a mum in the bowl for the time being! Just kidding! LOL!
I do have a PINK Saturday post for tomorrow, just needs a little tweaking! I had to reach down deep and get real creative to come up with it! So, for the lack of anything more exciting and profound to post, I leave you with the National Holidays & Days of Observances for October. Maybe celebrating some of these, will provide much needed inspiration....

I totally know what you mean. In fact, I feel the same way this week. I have nothing to share. My house is a disaster and hopefully after working on it this weekend, I'll have something worth posting about next week!!

We'll always be here waiting for you!! What you need is for David to have a new daredevil experience! LOL! I'm sorry, I really don't wish another catastrophe on you, it's just that he keeps your life interesting! I have the opposite problem with blogging right now.......I have too much. I have a notebook on my desk and as I think of things when I read other people's blogs I jot down ideas. I also transcribe all day and sometimes the things people do give me ideas or remind me of things in my own life. I guess bz I use this kind of as a public journal to store my life stories for my kids I haven't run out of ideas yet. My poor blogging buddies though have probably about given up me since they've been reading about emergency preparedness, loopy medication stories, my family, high school, etc. LOL! Whenever you're ready I'll be here!! :)( (had to get my double chin in the smile!)

Nobody is gonna forget you! We've all been there and know exactly how it feels. I was just disturbed that I hit the wall only a couple weeks into blogging lol. Inspiration will hit you out of nowhere and you'll be back on track!

Oh kiddo, we all have times where our minds sort of draws a blank about posting something...but do let us know you are still alive and kicking (up the dust if nothing else). I know, at least for me, I like to hear what ever is going on in other peopele's lives...that is what friends are for...to share the good and the bad.

May your weekend be filled with God and all his blessings.

Hi Rhonda,
I know how you feel...sometimes I take pictures of something or buy something just to have something to blog about. LOL

It amazes me that anyone actually wants to see or read what I post.

I think your overview of October is a great topic! I had no idea that the 30th is National Candy Corn day! LOL

If I can finish it, I'm going to do a post on candy corn.

Have a great day,
Diane

In our old neighborhood someone literally had an old toilet planter in their front yard. Not kidding. I couldn't find the whimsy in it:)

I'm so with you! I have to try really hard to keep coming up with something - even halfway interesting - to post about!

I know you'll find something and we will all be here to read and comment about it on your blog. :)

Thanks for stopping by and your soooo very kind words. Sometimes I get a little afraid to express what's in my heart but when I get the feeling I should I put the fear aside and do it and let people think what they may. Yes, I made Dot's recipe last night! I actually left her a note that said "the bow ties are no longer in my fruit room!" It was soooo yummy. I couldn't believe how much it made though. I had enough to freeze three packets for Larry to have other nights when I'm too busy to cook. Since he goes to bed so early I like to have a few premade meals on hand but I don't always do it. Sometimes I like to cook but lately I've absolutely hated it. Maybe bz Travis doesn't eat a thing except Lunchables, LOL! Everyone is always here there and everywhere so it makes it hard to cook for us to eat all at the same time. Here I am preaching to the choir about it, you have kids so you know how it is! Sunday though we all sit down together and have a meal. Thanks again for stopping by. At least you know there is an end to your contstruction someday! Mine is cluttered bz it's cluttered but there's no sense in adding on bz in about seven months (if all plans come together) I'll only have three people living here so I'll have much more room and much less clutter. Sorry about the plant shutting down. That's going to put a lot of people in a world of hurt. I hope this bailout/rescue, whatever you want to call it, works for the common man's good. Heaven knows we need it.

P.S. You have the most beautiful music on your blog. I love this song and keep coming back just to listen to it! I need to find out where you get this wonderful music!

You should do a post using your potty. I once saw a Halloween decoration where they stuffed a pair of pants and added some boots then placed them in the toilet to look like the guy was stuck in the toilet. That should give your neighbors something to talk about. ;~)

Have a super weekend!

I think you'll be just fine when things settle down a bit!

And nobody is going to forget about you!

You should go check www.reallifeblog.net and see what she said about not losing her following - I think you'd like it.

Have a wonderful, blessed weekend and relax!

I HEAR YA, SISTER! lol My excuse for not blogging? I've been lazy! Usually when my husband is away I'm busy, busy, busy. This time I watched way too much CNN and contemplated moving to Canada. :::sigh::: I hope to get back in the swing of things soon. Hope you do too!
