Tour For a Cure ~ Garden Tour ~ Part Two....

Welcome! So glad you could join me for "Part Two," of the Garden Tour Event at Deena's...

Nestle in the Garden

Tour For a Cure...

I also hope that by now you have a chance to visit Deena & read her journey. She has just recently experienced a miracle, and her story will bless your heart!

Memorial Weekend...

Container garden planted over a month ago.....

.....and look at it now!

Lantana slowly rebounding from it's winter hibernation...

Eucalyptus Tree, over 10 feet tall! (A less than beautiful telephone graces the middle of the tree, which doesn't make for great pictures...LOL!)

Palm Tree Row....

Portulaca....

Coleus.....

Sago Palms...

Oleanders....

Don't know the name of this tree. It is not native to the coast, but transplanted from the mountains! I just love the foliage....

Night is falling fast, and this concludes my tour....

Deena and I are having a cold glass of lemonade and are so glad you could join us!

Shall we go on to the next garden on tour? See you there.....

~Rhonda ;)

What a beautiful tour! I especially liked the tree with the face carved into it. That was so unique and unexpected.

Since I'm in the north I don't get to see some of your beautiful plants. The palms are lovely! Your containers have filled out so nice....thanks for the tour, DebraK

~sticking my head back in~

Hi Rhonda... I just wanted to thank you, and let you know just how special and dear you are to me. Your comment about the side-roads was welcomed with open arms. "His grace is sufficient for thee" ~ what a great passage and one that I'll be writing down and taping to my monitor. Sometimes when I read my Bible, simple phrases slip by, and it's so nice to have a friend that points them out to me! I am going to see if YouTube has anyone singing the song you mentioned...

Ohhh... glad you liked the picture of the Twinkies Twins! I love it when I come across cutie pie's like that... LOL!

Hmmmmmm... you have me wondering, now, just what it is that you're going to be painting today... if you already told me, I forgot... such are the perks of old age! LOL

Hope the day is a wonderful one for you, Sweetie... God bless...

~hugs 'n love~

Hi Rhonda!!!

It's wonderful to hear from you. Thanks for the lovely comment on the smocked frocks! :)

I am ashamed to say that each had taken me more than a year to finish just the smocking. I love to smock, but I can't do it for too long at one time.... especially the boullion roses. Those almost drove me insane. But I persevered because they look so good in the end... hahaha!

that mystery tree is called a green ash. It is common in my neck of the woods! So...if it will grow in central alberta...you know it will do well for you! my sis and I used to use the seed pods as helicopter propellers! lol
