Countdown 'til Christmas ~ Day 9/Christmas Candy

Sometimes, it's the simple things that really brighten my life,
especially those simple little candies that only come around one time of year.
You know, the ones we look forward to with each season.

At Easter,
It's the Cadbury Creme Eggs!
Doesn't get any better than that....

Until Christmas comes around.
Then it is the season for Chocolate Covered Cherries!

And My Very Favorite,

Chocolate Covered Marshmallow Christmas Trees!
Imagine my delight, when I discovered Kraft Mallow Bites, in the Food Section of the "big blue retail store." Now I can enjoy this delicious snack, of my favorite seasonal treats any day of the year! And they are only a $1.00 a bag.
Sorry I don't have any actual ones to show. They didn't quite make it long enough for the "post photo shoot!" The bag is all that is left, but I can assure you they were wonderful!

If I keep on, I'm going to look like Sally's "Samanthaclaus, the fat lady that brings presents," from Charlie Brown's Christmas!

So what is your favorite Christmas Candy or Dessert?
Do tell....
And I hope you have been able to enjoy it already this Christmas Season!

We have given my dad a box of chocolate covered cherries each Christmas for as long as I can remember. In the past few years I realized that he may not love them that much...it's just tradition. He does always smile, eat, and share.

I'll have to be on the lookout for the chocolate covered marshmallows. Yummy!

Chocolate Covered Cherries are great but I will always be a Divinity girl!

My favorite Christmas CD is Kenny G. Love him!

My favorite dessert... that is harder. Anything chocolate. When I was young, it was my mother's home made divinity. As a teen, it was her homemade fudge. Both unsurpassable in flavor!

XO,

Sheila :-)

Chocolate covered cherries has been my favorite for so long that my son buys me some (and wraps them!) each year as an extra present. However, a few years ago, I got tired of them and haven't had the heart to tell him that I no longer eat them! LOL

They better not sell them around here or I am sooooo in trouble, lol! I really love the Russell Stover chocolate covered marshmallows. I love the cherries too and can't buy them bz I have no self control with them and will eat the whole box! I don't have much left in the way of taste buds but these I crave anyway and can still taste them. I've been really careful what I've eaten the past few months but have discovered that stress makes me gain weight! Seriously. I'm not eating much and I'm eating healthy but have gained weight during this fall and winter. Maybe I'll have to fix this knee quicker than I hoped to. Sigh, it's always something isn't it?!
